Doug’s birthday is tomorrow. Congratulations!
Cairo Youth Group
17 kids at youth group Friday. The next meeting is Friday June 3 at 6:30 PM at Shetland Park and it will be the last one until September 9.
Sunday School Party – Today!
Today at 11:30 AM, families will meet at Jeff Wranich’s house for a campfire and afternoon of exploring and fun! 7310 Lambton Line, Bothwell. Please bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, and bug spray. Food and drinks will be provided.
Kids Club Year End Family BBQ – May 27
The next meeting of the Kid’s Club is Friday May 27 and is the year end Family BBQ
Road to Hope Mystery Tour – June 5
A Cairo – Hope joint project that will start here at 1:30 PM. There will be interesting things to see and enjoy, followed by a BBQ at Hope at about 5. Prizes will be awarded.
Hope Anniversary – June 12
The 10:30 AM anniversary service at Hope will feature Rev. Noel McLaren from Uralla, New South Wales, Australia. There will be no church at Cairo that day.
Sunday School 2015-2016 Year End – June 19
The Sunday school year end presentation will be on Sunday June 19th, and they will be hosting snack time following Church. The last day for Sunday School will be Sunday June 26th. It will resume again Sunday September 4th.
Cairo/Hope Sunday School Beach Day! – June 26
Sunday June 26th, 3 PM at Ipperwash beach (site # 3). 5 PM potluck dinner. Kentucky Fried Chicken and drinks will be provided. Please bring a salad or dessert to share. Directions: Ipperwash Centre road north to the lake, turn right at the last intersection, site # 3 is first on your left. From the parking lot, walk up the small hill to the picnic area, then take the stairs down to the beach and head to the right until you find the group.
